Delivering Outstanding Outcomes for Disadvantaged Pupils

12 Feb 26

We are proud to share that the Secretary of State, via the DfE, has recognised Fairfield High School for Girls as a school that serves the needs of disadvantaged pupils exceptionally well, resulting in outstanding performance.

In its communication, the DfE commended Fairfield for “demonstrating strong attainment outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.” This recognition places Fairfield amongst schools nationally whose work in tackling disadvantage and raising achievement is making a measurable difference.

This achievement reflects the unwavering dedication of staff, the ambition we hold for every pupil, and the strength of partnership between school, families and the wider community. Ensuring that disadvantage is never a barrier to success remains central to our mission, and this recognition affirms the impact of that commitment.

Every lesson delivered, every intervention planned, every conversation of encouragement and every moment of care has contributed to this success. It is the result of collective effort, staff working together with shared purpose to secure the very best outcomes for pupils.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to every colleague whose professionalism, expertise and commitment have made it possible.

Congratulations to everyone at Fairfield High School for Girls on this outstanding recognition!
