A Warm Welcome to Our New Year 7 Cohort

We are absolutely delighted that our new Year 7 pupils will be joining us in September. Pupils are becoming part of our community at a truly exciting time. Investment continues across our facilities, our staff development and the wide range of opportunities available to pupils. Through our ambitious, knowledge-rich curriculum-spanning Mathematics, English, the Arts, Sciences, Languages, Technology, Humanities and Computing - pupils are challenged to achieve their very best. Alongside this, a broad enrichment programme of trips, clubs and personal development opportunities ensures every pupil can discover new passions and build lasting friendships.

We understand that moving from primary to secondary school is a significant milestone for both children and their families. Our dedicated transition programme ensures that every pupil feels confident, prepared and excited about starting their secondary journey. You'll soon receive a welcome pack from us with all the information you need.

Over the coming months, our transition team will visit primary schools to meet pupils and staff, families will be invited to key events to meet our Year 7 team and pupils will have opportunities to meet their form groups and explore the school
Our Year 7 pupils will be supported by a dedicated team including the Head of Year 7, Attendance Officer and Senior Pastoral Manager, alongside our Pupil Transition Leadership Team who help new pupils settle quickly and confidently.
