Stamford Park Trust

I am delighted to inform you that Fairfield High School for Girls has joined Stamford Park Trust. We are now part of a family of academies where we can work in partnership and collaborate  to achieve the very best for our pupils. This brings new opportunities and benefits for those in our school community and beyond. Today, to mark this exciting new stage in the life of Fairfield, we hosted a celebratory event with members of the Trust, the Head Girl Team and pupils representing all year groups.

Mr Anton McGrath (Trust CEO) said ‘This is an exciting time for both Fairfield High School for Girls and Stamford Park Trust. Your school joins a wider family of academies with the sole aim of providing excellence in education and the realising of ambition for all. Fairfield’s record over many years is exemplary and the school has an illustrious history of providing outstanding education for girls from across Tameside and the wider region for over 200 years. It is important to reiterate that Fairfield will continue with those routines and traditions which are unique to the school, but it will be part of a wider family of schools with the aim of providing the best quality of education for each and every student in our Trust. Fairfield will have a significant role to play in helping us to achieve that aim but will also benefit from a wider network of dedicated professionals across our whole Trust to help build on the already excellent provision which the school delivers each year. Plus, your child will benefit from a number of opportunities which are unique to the Trust during their secondary education. We look forward to building a strong relationship between you as parents and carers the school and the Trust over the next few years.’
